Discovering is not the same as being discovered

Published · GINIE PROD

“Being discovered” is a comfortable myth. It puts fate outside the self. Someone will come. A live will do the rest. Sometimes, yes, a gaze falls. That is not a plan.

For a label, discovering is a job. Going where the voices are, including LIVES at the hour when others are asleep. Listening without rushing to assign potential the way one assigns a tag.

For an artist, discovering is something else: finding your own centre. Many wait to be seen before knowing what there is to see. That is the wrong order. You cannot discover someone who is not there yet.

We are not asking you to turn into a sales desk. We are asking you to be findable without betraying yourself: a clear demo, a real presence, a name, a face, a song. The minimum is not a campaign. It is an address.

If you are already visible, do not stop at “they found me”. Ask what they found. A habit? A voice? A person? Only the third question leads to a project. The first two lead to starting again tomorrow night.

You’ve got the sound. Let us hear it.
