From LIVE to a project: what TikTok actually changes

TikTok moved the first contact. Many artists no longer arrive through a cold demo, but through a voice, a face, an invisible room that comes back. LIVE creates a closeness the record alone never had.
That still is not a career. A LIVE is a signal: presence, stamina, a way of holding attention. A project is something else. It is an identity that holds outside the feed, a repertoire, an image, a release that does not depend on the next virtual gift.
The trap is to confuse the audience of one evening with the public of a body of work. One can be real, warm, loyal. The other is built when that loyalty survives the silence: the next day, the next month, off the app.
At Ginie Prod we listen to a LIVE the way we listen to a stage. We look for what exceeds the format: the timbre, the choice of songs, the way someone speaks between tracks, the consistency. We are not looking for a score. We are looking for a person we would want to produce.
