TikTok is not a shortcut

Published · GINIE PROD

TikTok shortened the path to ears. Not the path to the work. You can be seen in a night and still have no song in the morning. Visibility does not write verses.

The shortcut is a understandable temptation. Why wait for a label, a studio, a date, if LIVE already gives feedback? Because chat feedback is not the same as a record’s. One is immediate. The other is lasting — or missing.

We see artists who are very strong live, and still unclear the moment they have to choose a title, an arrangement, a cover. That is not a failure. It is a sign the format arrived first. The work is to catch up.

TikTok remains a ground. We look for voices there. We do not look for a magic that would replace writing, production, doubt. Anyone selling you the opposite is selling impatience.

If you come from LIVE, you have already learned to hold a room. Now learn to hold a silence. That is often where it is decided whether you were an evening phenomenon — or an artist.

You’ve got the sound. Let us hear it.
